while i’m at it… goodbye savo group, goodbye former friends, and goodbye corporate bullshit! goodbye asp.net, windows, and visual basic! woo hoo! freedom!

i’ve flown the coop, started my own company, and abandoned six years of valuable experience and accumulated expertise.

the new company is gonna make software for doctors. why? because the software they have to choose from sucks, and we could make a lot of money by making better stuff.

it’s all ruby, rails, linux, osx, mysql, and lots of other stuff i don’t understand, yet am lucky enough to be in charge of. cool, eh?

i’ve traded in my architect, director, and vice president business cards for an admiral’s hat. we’re called privateer software, and we’re coming to a doctor’s office near you. yarr!

after a long hiatus, i’m back to blogging.  i’ll try to get the old posts up here, but until then, i’ll do my best to entertain y’all (if there is any y’all left to entertain) with new thoughts.
